We are a rock n roll band from Orange County, CA. We are a Christian band, our purpose is to go out and share the good news through music to everybody who has an ear and wants to listen. The New Fame is.... energy, emotion & devotion...

We started as a 3 piece band in mid 1998 with Abe on guitar and vocals, Sweaty Moe on drums and Adam on bass. After playing shows here and there, a few roster changes (like most bands). In early 2000 we decided to jumpstart The New Fame band wagon again after a short break. In March 2000 we added a second guitarist Moe B.(an old friend from youth camp). Through him we met our second bass player Johnny Hake we continued to play shows. In Jan 2001 we added yet another guitarist Jason Lopez who would handle the lead guitar duties. Shortly there after Moe B. moved on.

The New Fame's current roster has been playing a few shows and God opened doors to record a 4 song EP in 2001 with Producer Scotty Silletta (Plankeye, Fanmail) fame...@ the Orange Crush Studio. and in Jan 2002 we were put on a 20 band compilation with Velvet Blue Music and now of course, our newly released record, Hope For The Masses that was just released in August of 2003. THE NEW FAME rocks on!

Yet another chapter in this bands history has come and gone in October 2002 we went into The Orange Crush Studio with Producer Scott Silletta to record our first full length album! and the Album came to life on July 2003. In April 2003 guitarist Jason Lopez decided to move on. Abe, Johnny & Moe keep moving on in this journey called THE NEW FAME. Live we were being helped by friend Danny Acuna to fill in on second guitar. Our goal is to go out and play as many shows as possible. To be a positive band and to share our saviors love. The New Fame wants to go as far as we possibly can. We do it for the Love.

January 23rd 2005 The New Fame got their first Radio Interview at University Southern California’s (USC) on campus radio station KSCR 1560am. 2005 seems to be a promising year with the help of our savior. April 2005 Nate Rivas long time friend joined to fill in on 2nd guitar after about a year & a half of playing as a 3 piece band. June 10th 2005 The New Fame had a live video recording & interview for an independent documentary on christian bands. December 2005 the start of our next record...
